The largest potential source of financial aid typically comes from the colleges to which a student applies. Students and parents should be sure to note each college’s application procedures and deadlines, and that the FAFSA is completed in order to be eligible for as much financial aid as one may receive. I’ve listed ten scholarship search sites below this paragraph. It’s not meant to be a comprehensive or a complete list, but it should offer an opportunity for students and parents to search for additional options beyond what’s offered by the colleges.

Chegg is best known as an online textbook store, but it’s also a great resource for finding scholarships --- more than $1 billion of them!

You can search by category or create a personal profile that would match your needs.
